What is the difference between a Letter Mailing and PDF Notice Mailing?

Our Answer:

The difference between the two orders is based on what type of file is used to upload the mailing; a PDF file or a CSV file. Let’s take a look at the difference between the two.

Letter Mailing

A letter mailing requires a CSV file with homeowner name and address information. The CSV file generates a cover address page that shows through the outer double window envelope. During the letter mailing ordering process, you will be required to upload at least one insert (PDF), with the option to upload additional inserts, totaling no more than 60 sheets.

PDF Notice Mailing

A PDF notice mailing requires a PDF file with homeowner name and address information already populated onto each individual letter. Unlike a letter mailing, additional inserts are not required for a PDF mailing.

If you do not utilize a software provider who exports CSV file formats, we can provide you with a template to use. Just email us at info@pageperpage.com to request a sample template.
